2006 - Alex's first time out of the U.S. and my first time to Central America. He'd like to return for a second round, but I'd rather go elsewhere to spare myself from being the target of so many mosquitoes.
Top 5 Highlights:
1. Boat ride to a nearby island to have lunch freshly caught via harpoon and grilled on the beach.
2. Fresh seafood nightly.
3. Climbing Xunantunich and feeling like a Mayan -- except for the sacrificial altar part.
